It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shanley MacKenzie of Athabasca, Alberta, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elaine Kleinschroth and Hugh MacKenzie; her stepfather Fred Kleinschroth (Lynn Trussler); her husband Guy Handfield; her daughters, Kristen (Lance) and Courtney (Kim); and her siblings, Dave, Allan (Scott), Linda (Albert), Sharon, Darlene (Dennis) and Giselle. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a young niece and nephew.
