We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2021, at the age of 95, Sylvia Madsen of Athabasca, Alberta, born in Clyde, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles Hill and Eliza Hill; her children, Doug Madsen and Lorraine Barnhouse (Les); her husband Hans Madsen; her daughter-in-law Liz Madsen; her grandchildren, Hillary, Mark (Sharla), Adam (Lisa), Norman (Christina) and Keith (Megan); and her sister-in-law Pearl Madsen. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or Parkinson Association of Alberta.
