We bid farewell to Ernest Lazzer (Barrhead, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Ernest touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Ernest's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ernest has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Lazzer; his parents, Louise Lazzer and Frederico Lazzer; his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Jack Wright; and his friend Gloria Paquette.
He is survived by: his sons, Glen Lazzer (Kate) and Keith Lazzer (Haley); and his sibling's children, Debbie Hoya and Dale Wright.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (5210 50 St, Barrhead, AB T7N1A4).
Donations will go to the maintenance of Naples Cemetery.
