He is survived by: his wife Mabel Hunder; his children, John Hunder (Tanya), Marie Hunder, Anne Hunder, Todd Hunder (Leisa) and Yvonne Churchill (Bruce); his grandchildren, Sarah Bent (Brad), Payton Hunder, Cypress Hunder-Rookes (Oliver), Kell Wictorin (Keely), Ashley Regner, Shauna Regner (Andrew), Jason Hunder (Hailey), Scott Hunder, Jessica Hunder, Leah Churchill, Grace Churchill and Beau Churchill; his great grandchildren, Mason Bent and Daisy Hunder; and his siblings, Mary Bognar and Jim Hunder.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Reynars Funeral Chapel (1300 102 Ave, Dawson Creek, BC V1G2C6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
