Josephine Laarz Obituary
The memory of Josephine Laarz (Barrhead, Alberta), who passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kristof Kryger and Olga Kryger; her stepmother Erna; and her siblings, Oswald, Godfrey, William, Edward, Olga and Anna.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Valerie) of Rochester, Bruce (Kim) of Surrey and Joy (Lorenz) of Cochrane; her stepchildren, Diana, Elaine (Allan), Irene (Randy), Andrew (Rebecca) and Edwin (Lisa); her sisters, Lily (Herb) and Hilda; her sister-in-law Anne; and her husband Albert Laarz. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Pentecostal Church (5410 53 Ave, Barrhead, AB T7N1C4).
