With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Sargent (Bashaw, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hug and Gertrude Hug; her husband Richard; her daughters, Amey Williamson, Shirley Stirling and Teresa Craig; her grandson Richard Sargent; her sons-in-law, Ernie Williamson and Wayne Dahl; and her foster son Greg Prezlak.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Roe, Rodney Sargent (Sandy), Marilyn Swanlund, Roy Sargent, Janice Sargent and James Sargent; and her son-in-law John Stirling.
