He was predeceased by : his wife Sandra; his parents, Frank Dawbin and Agnes Dawbin; and his brothers, Bill and John.

He is survived by : his sister Jean Paterson of Edmonton; and his nieces and nephews, Dean Haggerty (Jackie), Don Haggerty (Lori), Denise Kalynchuk, Lorraine Haggerty, Jim Haggerty (Vicky), Jack Dawbin (Kristy), Joanne Schoff (Trevor) and Pat Ryning (Aaron).

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the M.S. Society of Alberta.
