He is survived by: his wife Anny; his children, MaryAnne Brett, Carmen Pritchard (Keith), Harry Huysmans (Jackie) and Tony Huysmans (Rita); and his grandchildren, Allison, Janelle, Andrew (Sam), Cole (Jenica), Sabrina (Ryan), Nolan (Heidi), Mia (Ezra), Jeff (Michaela), Mitch (Carolyn) and Ryan (Mikka). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ponoka Golf Club (3519 46 St, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, in Marinus's name can be made to the Stollery Hospital in Edmonton (http://www.stollerykids.com) as Marinus was thankful for the care that two of his great-grandchildren received at the Stollery in the last year.
