She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Gerber and Robbie Buchanan; and her parents, Bruce Buchanan and Ethel Buchanan. She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Bisson (Craig Fujimoto) and Monique Denischuk (Kevin); and her brothers, Joe Buchanan (Deb) and Grant Buchanan. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
