He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Vig and Esther Vig; his significant other Sonja; his brothers, Elmer, Ray and Dennis; and his stepson Ross.
He is survived by: his children, Jason (Leanne), Kevin (Chandra), Kim (Conrad) and Tim (Isabelle); his grandchildren, Davin (Larisa), Kelsey (Brandon), McKenna, Aviana, Berrik, Meagan (Amanda), Kyle, Kaylis, Elise, Luke and Huxley; his great grandchild Rustyn; his brother Norman (Mitzi); and his sisters-in-law, Myrna and Laurel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bentley Blindman Ag Centre (5202 51 Street, Bentley, AB T0C0J0).
