With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Edwin Persson (Berwyn, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Persson and Sally Persson; his brothers, David Persson, Lewis Persson, Rod Persson and Perry Persson; and his stepmother Louisa Persson.

He is survived by : his pet Pyper; his children, Derry Persson (Gwyn), Cindy Drysdale (David) and Tim Persson; his grandchildren, Sandi Metituk (Devin), Jeff Drysdale (Amy), Stephanie Drysdale, Jordan Persson and Owen Persson; his great grandchildren, Mason, Payton Drysdale, Jaxon, Corbin and Brynnlie Metituk; and his brothers, Richard Persson (Lynn), Max Persson (Margeruite) and Mark Persson (Darlene).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
