He was predeceased by: his parents, William Michalsky and Victoria Michalsky; his sisters, Helen Kropinak, Wilma Pyplacz and Cara Tanner; and his grandchildren, Kosta Michalsky-Sarabalos and Alexis Bohmer.

He is survived by: his children, Willa Michalsky, Lita Michalsky (Boyce), Dawn Greenwood (Gary), Deserie Mosby (Karl) and Cindy Bohmer (Mel); his grandchildren, Colby Michalsky (Amanda), Sasha Lassey (Marty Schmidt), Shanel Michalsky-Sarabalos, Felina Johnson (Mark), Sonch Wideman, Jolene Butt (Stephen), Austin Ewanchuk, Logan Ewanchuk (Sarah), Brandon Ewanchuk (Kara), Roger Dezall (Becky), Shawna Dezall, Brooke Bohmer, Nathan Bohmer, Sydney Welsh (Corey) and Matthew Bohmer; and his daughter Bird Snider. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
