He is survived by: his parents, Reginald Allan Yates and Patricia Anne; his son Darren Douglas; and his siblings, Debbie Davis-Ward (Dean) of Coleman and Dean Yates (Derra) of Spruce Grove, Alberta.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
