Joanne Venier Obituary
In loving memory of Joanne Venier (Blairmore, Alberta), who departed this world on November 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Joanne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Yakubiec and Theresa Yakubiec; her husband Veno; her siblings, Evangeline Yagos, Stephanie Galicia, Genevieve Cervo, Anna Lissa, Mary Giza, Josephine Giolo, Steve Yakubiec and William Yakubiec; and her close friend Stan Humphrey.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Delia; her son Phillip; her daughter-in-law Brenda Venier; her grandchildren, Shanda and Matt Webber; her great grandchild Ari; her sister Helen Funfer; Robbi and Todd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fantin's Funeral Chapel (13461 20 Ave, Blairmore, AB T0K0E0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Canadian Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.ca).
