He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Batty and Mary Batty; and his brothers, William and Brian. He is survived by: his children, Alex Batty (Wendy), Brielle Batty Smith (Kevin) and Cameron Batty (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Ayla, Jackson, Kaia, Thurston and Owen. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
