She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna May and Jack McCallum; her daughter Mary; her brother Bernard McCallum; and her former husband John Wigle.
She is survived by: her friends, Shirley and Wally Neufeld; her husband John Newton; her children, Norah Wood (Dave), David Wigle and Michael Wigle (Shannon); her stepsons, Tim Newton (Angie) and Kevin Newton; her grandchildren, Joshua Lavoie, Scott Wood (Krizma), Jamie Van Mill (Brayden), Jordan Bond, Courtney Cann (Braden), Charlotte Van Driesten (Daniel), Colton Newton (Londyn), Brittney Newton (Mike), Khloe Newton, Tristen Newton, Jessica Brauer (Darcy) and Jason Doyle; and her great grandchildren, Remington Wood, Silas Van Mill, Elise Van Mill, Mikaela Cann, Liam Cann, Riley Van Driesten, Mackenzie Van Driesten, William Van Driesten, Chase Plowman, Bennett Tremblay, Logann Brauer and Kesler Brauer. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
