He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Hazel; his siblings, Don (Grace), Bill, Colin (Ada), Jessie (Leo) and Alythea (Roger); his siblings-in-law, Ben, John and Cecelia; and his grandson Arie.

He is survived by: his wife Debra; his daughters, Candace (Dwayne), Crystal (Scott) and Tammy (Regis); his grandchildren, Alexis, Abby, Devon, Dylon and Jason; his great grandchild Octavia; his grandsons, Joe (Norma) and James (Diana); his sisters, Margaret (Ken) and Etta (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Miles (Joanne), Colleen and Sonja. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
