He was predeceased by: his former wife Hannah Grant; his parents, Albey Gauthier and Yvonne Gauthier; his brother Eugene Gauthier; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel Gauthier and Charlie Boulanger.

He is survived by: his wife Aline Gauthier; his children, Pierre Gauthier (Lancia), Kathleen Gauthier (Sheldon) and Gisele Weiers; his grandchildren, Delainah Weiers (Jakob), Aerin Gauthier, Kennedy Gauthier, Korbin Gauthier (Paige) and Natalie Wessing; his great grandchildren, Wrenley MacMillan and Kayce Gauthier; his siblings, Romeo Gauthier (Louise), Denise Boulanger, Simone Cadieux (Bert) and Leona Crossland (Dale); and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Boisvert (Gilles), Jeannine Bouffard-Lemire, Monique Bouvier (Fern), Mimi Lemay and Monique Morin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
