It is with sadness that the passing of George Mercier (Bonnyville, Alberta) is shared. George, born on April 26, 1948, passed away on June 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucy Adele Mercier, Denis Mercier and Edward Mercier; his parents, Gerard Mercier and Lucille Mercier; and his parents-in-law, Louis Kawalilak and Emily Kawalilak.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Mercier; his son Jason Mercier (Megan); his grandchild Kayd of Edmonton, AB; his daughter Kimberly Buchta (Shane); his grandchildren, Tristan (Carley), Coltan of Bonnyville, AB and Chad Mercier (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Haileigh and Mason of Bonnyville, AB; his grandchild Jodie Cooper (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, RhiAnna and Elliya of Fort McMurray, AB..
