Jay Cadieux Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Cadieux (Bonnyville, Alberta), who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Josie; his parents, Edward Cadieux and Maude Cadieux; his siblings, Ernest Cadieux, David Cadieux, Paul Cadieux, Louise Blais and Margaret Klinginberg; and his siblings-in-law, Lavern Blais, Ed Klinginberg, Walter Mahowich, John Mahowich, Germaine Cadieux, Bernice Cadieux and Helen Cadieux.

He is survived by: his children, Edward Cadieux (Donna), Eileen Batke (Randy) and Marie Demkiw (Bart); his grandchildren, Coltin (Avery), Lexi (Andrew), Jay (Kaitlin), Jamey (Echo) and Brian (Dez); his great grandchildren, Cannan, Olivia, Iziah, Maverick, Lexy, Ethan, Emery and Chylar; his brother Gerry Cadieux (Mae); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Kachuck, Eloise Cadieux, Gladys Mahowich and Margret Mahowich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Donations in memory of Jay may be sent to a charity of one's choice and/or bouquets of remembrance, as Jay loved flowers.
