She is survived by: her parents, Judith Kahpoonapit and Ernest Sundown; her adoptive daughter Leanna Rose Kahpoonapit; her siblings, Ernie Sundown, Katlin Sundown, Samson Sundown, Carmen Kahpoonapit, Anastasia Sundown, Fiona Kahpoonapit, Brittany Kahpoonapit, Carley Kahpoonapit, Mallory Kahpoonapit and Coda Sundown; her grandmothers, Dorothy Sandfly, Alma Sandfly and Marlene Sandfly; and her aunts and uncles, Maurice Kahpoonapit, Glen Kahpoonapit, Beatrice Kahpoonapit, Jeanette Kahpoonapit and Linda Kahpoonapit. She is also survived by many other aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM and at 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chief Napew Memorial School (Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Pierceland, SK S0M2K0).
