Lily Bodnar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2025, at the age of 98, Lily Bodnar of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lily Bodnar to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Bodnar; her parents, Henri Bourgoin and Lucienne Bourgoin; and her brother Maurice Bourgoin (Annabelle). She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Bodnar (Patrick Wright) of Spruce Grove, AB and Valerie Metrunec (Alan Haggerty) of Bonnyville, AB; her grandchildren, Kelsey Ryan (Kyler), Kailie Metrunec (Johannes van der Werf) and Kyle Metrunec (Kyra Bailey); her great grandchildren, Kona, Kacey Ryan and Wilder van der Werf; and her grandchild Lil. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Lil may be sent to the Bonnyville Health Foundation, 5001 Lakeshore Drive, Bonnyville, AB T9N 0G8.
