He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Laporte and Denise Laporte; his brother Danny Laporte; and his nephew Cole Palmer. He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Laporte of Calgary; his siblings, Michel Laporte (Cathy) of Victoria, BC and Caroline Palmer (Mel) of Bonnyville, AB; his child Bev; and his nephew Courtnay McIntyre (Leon). He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
