He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lexanna Rose Drapaka; his parents, George Drapaka and Mary Drapaka; his sister Patricia Capowski; his father-in-law James Krawiec (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Eli Chudyk and Brian Toma.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Drapaka; his children, Shawn Drapaka (Michelle) and Trevor Drapaka (Jaime); his grandchildren, Logan, Addison, Hunter and Brooke; his mother-in-law Julia Krawiec; and his siblings, Albert Drapaka (Irene), Eugene Drapaka (Colleen), Tillie Chudyk, Diana Hallwachs (Richard) and Judy Drapaka (Don). He is also survived by in-laws, extended family.
