With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thérèse Yvonne Gareau of Bonnyville, Alberta, born in Donnelly, Alberta, who passed away on February 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Laurent Gareau; her son André Gareau; her parents, Gaspard Dandurand and Marie Rose Dandurand; and her sisters, Marcella Roberts and Bertha Bourgeois.
She is survived by : her children, Marianne, Jean-Paul (Patricia), Robert (Loretta) and Simone (Blair); her grandchildren, Robi (Julie), Roq (Erica), Élène (Patrick), Lise (Chris), Josslyn (Nick), Céline (Mark), Siona (Alex) and Sophie (Mitch); her great grandchildren, Emera (Sam), Teira, Fiona, Sofie, Samuel, Julien, Benoit, Maëlle, Béatrice, Delphine, Thea and Léonie; her daughter-in-law Mary Dumka; and her sister Claire Rouleau.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be offered to the Edmonton Food Bank or The Sign of Hope Society, where Thérèse volunteered for many years.
