He was predeceased by: his son Nicholas John Kardash; his brother Danny Kardash; his parents, Nicholas Kardash and Mary Kardash; his grandparents, Danilo, Maria Kardash, Steven Pilipchuk and Anna Demediuk; his father-in-law John Sarawanski; his brother-in-law David Sarawanski; and his nephew Christopher Sarawanski.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Kardash; his children, Steven Kardash (Amanda), Christina Wiebe (Garrett) and Raymond Kardash (Krista); his grandchildren, Jenelle Kardash, Riley Kardash, Zachary Wiebe, Alex Wiebe, Eleanor Kardash, Diana Kardash, Nicholas Kardash and Anneliese Kardash; his mother-in-law Helen Sarawanski; and his siblings, Linda Krywiak (Mike), Roseanne Kardash, Ron Kardash (Claudette), Dennis Kardash and Carol Sarawanski.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Memento Funeral Chapel (5201 Lakeshore Dr, Bonnyville, AB T9N1X7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church (63131 Range Rd 470, Iron River, AB T0A2A0).
