Margaret Dunkerley wrote a sympathy message

“What a wonderful person God has taken home. I introduces Joan to machine embroidery. She saw what I was doing and said she wanted a machine like mine. I eventually sold her my machine. What fun we had sharing designs and patterns. We also shared playing bells and attending Torah classes. What an inspiring lady. She will be missed.”

C. A. Miller wrote a sympathy message

“Especially for Joan’s family....As a colleague of Joan’s for many years at Glenmore Christian Academy, I (and my husband, Arnie) have many spectacular memories. Joan’s incredible math expertise was a great gift for countless students. Joan saw the math in God’s creation; we collaborated on art/math projects with amazing results! Her passion for quilting, sewing skating costumes, for training students on three octaves of handbells, annual teaching scheduling were exemplary. She was much loved!”
