He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ulrich; his children, Linda Gatz (Larry Gatz), Duane Ulrich and Shirley MacMillian; his parents, Anna Ulrich and John Ulrich; and his siblings, Lawrence Ulrich, Leroy Ulrich, Donald Ulrich and Josephine Sittler.
He is survived by: his children, Vivian Sime (Calvin) of Golden, Rod Ulrich of Calgary, Timothy Ulrich (Tamera Dieno) of Bow Island and Stephen Ulrich (Trish Heidinger) of Medicine Hat; his children-in-law, Sandra Huizing of Burdett and Robert MacMillan of Lethbridge; his grandchildren, Ryan Gatz, Randy Gatz (Kim), Megan Hjorleifson (Steve), Mitchell Sime, Myles MacMillan, Kas MacMillan, Amanda Ulrich, Tanner Ulrich, Alies Huizing, Eric Skarland, Cassie Skarland and Rowyn Ulrich; his great grandchildren, Kayden Gatz, Mason Gatz, Emery Hjorleifson and JoniBlae Hjorleifson; his siblings, Helen Squires (Bill) of Calgary and Reverend Albert Ulrich; and his sister-in-law Hilda Ulrich of North Battleford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
