He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Renschler and Julia Renschler; his brothers, Doug Renschler and Garnie Renschler; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Renschler and Louis Simon.

He is survived by : his wife Bev Renschler; his children, Kelly Mowat (Dave) of Brooks, Kimberly Renschler of Medicine Hat and Wayne Renschler (Jamie) of Grande Prairie; his grandchildren, Mason Mowat, Katelyn, William and Jordan Renschler; his sisters, Dorothy Simon and Carol Bishop; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Renschler, Ken Nelson (Wendy) and Rod Nelson (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
