He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" McKenzie and Denise McKenzie of Lakefield, Ontario; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Margaret Kellough of Stettler. He is survived by: his wife Irene McKenzie; his daughters, Shannon McKenzie Bael (Victor) of Taber and Neilly Becker (Leroy) of Bow Island; and his grandchildren, Zackery Giesbrecht-Bael (Vanessa), Georgia Giesbrecht-Bael of Taber, Haidyn and Quyn Becker of Bow Island.
