The memory of Ralph Scarlett of Bowden, Alberta, who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his granddaughter Niina; his parents, Tom and Ina; and his siblings, Eileen, Ron, Jim and George.

He is survived by: his children, Rod (Cheryl), Randy, Heather (Kevin) and Gillian; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Reece, Mark, Ian, Nanami, Mina, William and Andrew; his brothers, Gordon (Joan), Glen and Russell (Myra); and his sisters-in-law, Anne and Cheryl.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Lincoln Hall (41319 AB-792, Lacombe County, AB T4L2N3).

I respected Ralph so much, both as the principal of the newly rebuilt high school when I was in Grade 12 and also as the principal when I was a staff member. I used to marvel at his ability to have very upset parents leave his office smiling! So, an empathetic leader, a charismatic negotiator and a peacemaker with principles. A very great man left this world on Friday.”
