She was predeceased by: her parents, Klaas Visser and Alice Visser; her husband John Slomp; and her brothers, Klaas and Morris.
She is survived by: her siblings, Hans Visser, Dick Visser (Marilyn), Jenny Stolk and Dieny Donkersgoed (Ken); her brother-in-law Henry (Willhelmien Slomp); and her children, John (Alice), Alice Nicholson, Karl (Linda), Linda Ohlmann (Glen), Betty Parent (James), Randy, Brian (Sherry) and Leroy (Michelle). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
