With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Catherine Smith of Brooks, Alberta, born in Nanton, Alberta, who passed away on August 27, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vern Smith; her parents, George Burke and Zelda Burke; her children, Dean (Daimy), Terry Fairhurst (Clint) and Holly Finn (Michael); her grandchildren, Tylar Smith (Wynona), Shelly Smith (Colt), David, Greg Fairhurst (Jessi), Brian Fairhurst, Melissa Finn (Firas) and Sandy Finn (Willie Hyndman); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith, Bailey Smith, Adrian Smith, Liam Smith, Adam Beck, Brandon Beck, Jubran Mansour, Omar Mansour, Mikhail Mansour and Willow Hyndman; her great great grandchild Maverick Beck; and her sister Lorrian Aasen (Alf) of Lethbridge. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
