Louis Nester, born on May 3, 1927 in Bassano, Alberta, passed away on October 15, 2026. Louis leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen; his grandson David Zepick; his siblings, Marion, Frank, Jack, Chrissy and Don; his siblings-in-law, Glen Berg, Danny Creighton and Pat Creighton; and his nephews, Jack Nester and Don Berg.
He is survived by: his sister Louise Berg; his children, Debbie (Dean) and Hugh (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Aaron Zepick (Leah), Daniel Zepick (Beth Anne), Kelly Moseson (Adam), Brad Nester (Ashley) and Jamie Nester (Colin Spiller). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; as well as many extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (811 Cassils Rd W, Brooks, AB T1R0E4).
