He was predeceased by: his children, Richard Earl, Stewart Lloyd and Cindy Lucille; his parents, Bob Smith and Mary Smith; and his brothers, Leo (Zelma Smith) and Ronald Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Kathy (Frans), Gordon (Vivian), Connie (Ron) and Candace (Robert); his brother Kelly Smith; and his children-in-law, Rick Severtson and Heather Smith. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thom's Funeral Home and Reception Centre (477 Margaret Ave, Duchess, AB T0J0Z0).
