Victor Dominic Anthony Traversano Obituary
Victor Dominic Anthony Traversano of Brooks, beloved husband of Darlene Traversano nee Thiessen of 57 years, passed away in Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 7th 2023 at the age of 77 years. Vic was born to Carmin Traversano and Josephine Nicefore in Blairmore, Alberta, where he was raised by his mother Josephine and step father Albert Bernardo. He resided in Sparwood, BC with Darlene for 55 years, before moving to Brooks in 2021 to be closer to his daughters. Vic was predeceased by his mother, father, step-father, 3 half-brothers, a great granddaughter Andraya Traversano and granddaughter Caitlyn Bruder. Vic will be lovingly remembered by his wife Darlene; 3 daughters, Tammy Matlock (Calvin), Tanya Snooks and Toni Traversano all of Brooks; 3 sisters, Rose, Leanne and Doreen; grandchildren Dominic (Hanna) Traversano, Charles Traversano, Jamie-Lee Snooks, Aubrey Snooks (Jess), Alycia Vickers, and Laycee Gardiner; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held a later date. A GoFundMe has been set up if anyone would like to help the family with all associated costs.
Cremation is entrusted to and conducted at Smith Funeral Home Ltd. and Crematorium, Brooks.
