He was predeceased by: his parents, David Martens and Agantha Martens; and his siblings, David, John, Corny and Nettie.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Martens; his children, Dave (Susie), John (Maria) and Susi (George); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Aiden), Samantha (Justin), Krystyn, Steven, Jessica, Shawna (Riley), Caitlin, Chloe, Tyler, Nathan and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Emmett, Connor, Bowen and Kaiden. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
