Renata Vitt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renata Vitt (Bruderheim, Alberta), who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Renata Vitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kurt Vitt; her daughter-in-law Janice; her parents, Otto Haas and Else Haas; and her siblings, Lothar, Ellen and Ernst Otto.

She is survived by: her sister Brigitte; her children, John, Tabea, Wayne Schiewe, Esther and Danilo Vitt-Gonzalez; her stepson Ralph (Carmen Skokanic); her grandchildren, Rachel, Taylor Dotson, Jordan, Samantha Vitt, Ana Maria Gonzalez, Eileen and Anthony Orlando; and her great grandchildren, Aria Vitt, Jules, Marcel Dotson and Lucas Orlando.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bruderheim Community Centre. A burial was held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bruderheim Moravian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any Moravian Church or the Bruderheim Community Church would be greatly appreciated.
