He was predeceased by : his parents, James Somerville and Eva Somerville; his sister Rosemary; and his brother-in-law Sidney Smith. He is survived by : his wife Aniela Somerville; his daughter Tracy Somerville; his nephews, Terry Smith (Colleen), Greg Smith (Lori), Dale Smith (Vivian) and John Smith (Sandy); and also Howard Gummer.
