It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Louise Soosay (Buffalo, Alberta), who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wesley Richard Soosay and Matilda G. Soosay; her siblings, Bernadine, Christina Soosay, Louis Soosay and Elliott Ryder; her children, April, June Soosay, Jacob and Luwen Soosay; her nieces, Courtnee Soosay and Tyla Soosay; her grandson Raiden Buffalo-Littlechild; her husband Jason Morin; her grandparents, James, Mary Simon, Pierre, Louise Soosay and Dan Dion; and her great-grandparents, Joe Simon (Abbie) and William Thom (Jean).
She is survived by : her children, Jaysin Soosay, Percy Soosay, Richard Soosay, Kurtis Soosay, Carmellia Soosay, Melissa Johnson, Rhiannon Buffalo and Raven Buffalo; her siblings, Belinda Soosay, Bernice Soosay, Danette Ryder, Wesley Soosay (Rosaleen), Billy Soosay, Lazarus Soosay and Lester Jr. Boysis; her babies, Sky Buffalo, Percy Jr. Soosay, Atreus Buffalo and Aurora Soosay Deschamps; her grandchildren, Taiden, Thaiden, Tydeus, Percy Jr., Jay Jay, Aleigha, Braiden, Zayden, Haven, Zoe and Jaida; and her aunts and uncles, Aubrey Simon, James Thom (Tanya), Joy Simon, Cassandra Simon, Abbie Simon, Darwin Soosay (Gladys) and Catherine Soosay. She is also survived by her children and family, she also loved her friends.
