He is survived by: his mother Bertha Winters (Tuglavina); his wife Michelle West; his children, Denise Wilson, Alicia Winters (David Hansch), Danika Winters, Alexander West-Winters, Christopher Loenhart and Johnathon Dawe (Jennifer Dawe); his sisters, Clara Winters, Christine Vincent (Clarence) and Rosie Winters; his father-in-law Stew West; his siblings-in-law, Roberta Clarke (Rodger) and Stewart West; his pet Moira; his significant other Angel; Jax Winters, Chase Hansch, Ethan Hansch, Bella Hansch, Ariella Wilson, Charlie Hansch and Nathan Dawe. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of AJ (Abia Julius Amos) Winters can be made to the Calgary Health Trust for the South Health Campus, Calgary AB in appreciation for the care and compassion shown by the team in the Intensive Care Unit.
