She was predeceased by : her husband Nicolaas; her parents, Johannes Mooij and Anna Mooij; and her siblings, Ton, Henk and Jan.

She is survived by : her sister Corry; her children, Annet (Mark), John (Sheryl), Pat and Ray (Catherine); her grandchildren, Colin (Kelsi), Jordan, Matthew, Mark (Courtney), Emma, Katie, Megan (Chad), Madeline and Kimberly; and her great grandchildren, Owen, William, Austin, Clark, Wyatt and Evelyn.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fish Creek Hospitality Centre (14441 Bannister Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2X3J3).
