We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 93, Alexa York Davis (Calgary, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Meta; his parents, Edson Davis and Marion Davis; and his siblings, Wilma Harkness, Maxine Douthwright and Leslie Davis (Les).
He is survived by: his children, Jean Saunders (Peter) of Calgary, AB, Carol Hutcheson of Calgary, AB and Thomas Davis (Karlynne McEwan) of Victoria, BC.; his grandchildren, William Samson, Kristy Packwood (Anthony), Kelly Saunders Meyerhoff (Scott Meyerhoff) and Julie Saunders (Bart Ujack); his great grandchildren, Owen, Levi, Jasper, Anika, Seth, Elodie and Sam; and his sisters, Betty Adair of Niagara Falls, Ontario., Leila Custodio of Niagara Falls, Ontario. and June Corr of Niagara Falls, Ontario.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Military Museums of Calgary, Hillhurst United Church, or the Royal Canadian Legion #264.
