She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Holstein and Olga Holstein; her husband Ivan; her siblings, Alvin Holstein and Doreen; and her brother-in-law Harold Flemmer.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Garry Freeman, Kenneth, Darlene (Budden), Ronald, Merrilee (Galleberg), Darcy, Robin (Welsh), Dianne and Dwayne Lazurko; her grandchildren, Jason (Christie), Derek (Lauren), Eleisha (Fred), Amanda, Jessica, Michelle, Jeffrey, Ashley, Chelsey, Brandon and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Dani, McKinley, Oliver, Adilyn, Keilyn, Caleb, Cole, Zane and Ivan; and her sisters, Nellie Scherger (George) and Shirley Besler (Rubin). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
