He was predeceased by: his parents, John Unrau and Helen Unrau; and his siblings, Donald and Margaret. He is survived by: his children, LaVerne Bramall (Michael) and Janice Young (Joel); his grandchildren, Sean, Stephanie (Calvin), Kristopher (Brittany), Christina (Chad) and Sara; his great grandchildren, Emma, Isabelle and Jackson; his brothers, William (Edith) and Ronald (Mary Ann); and his sister-in-law Shelly.
During Covid, Papa's skill with a computer allowed him to watch and enjoy school plays and performances through Zoom or Skype, and to stay in touch with his family.
