It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Geraldine Jamieson of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Vermeylen and Lillian Thorne; her stepmother Doris Webster Vermeylen; her sister Enid Bell; and her husband Don.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Jamieson Soppit and Jacquie; her son-in-law Bradly Soppit; her granddaughter Alexandria Soppit; her sister-in-law Sheila Palmquist; and her stepsister Jackie Gay. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
