He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alec and Theodore; and his former wife Lydia. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Estel; his children, Bettina Krogman (Bill Bridgewater) of Calgary, Dagobert Estel of Germany and Kelowna; and also Olga.
