It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Gerlat (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Evald Gerlat; her father Ulbe Sandstra; her stepmother Johanna Sandstra; her mother Willemke Sandstra; her sister Tryntje; her brother-in-law Bob Holtrop; her brother Henry Sandstra; her sister-in-law Wilma Sandstra; and her stepbrothers, Gerard and Dick.

She is survived by: her children, Glen Gerlat (Lawna Hurl) and Linda Gerlat (Kent Stuckert) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Brad Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Lyla, Kylie and Deacon Gerlat; her great grandchildren, Raelynn Wilson and Noah Thompson; her siblings, Grace Holtrop, Peter Sandstra (Hazel), Mike Sandstra (Lila), Marvin Sandstra (Wilma), Jennie Wright (Wayne) and Sid Sandstra (Jeanette); her brother-in-law Hal Gerlat (Diane); her children, Mindy Gerlat (Nathan), Bill Gerlat and Alexandre; and her siblings, Mary (Dick), Magda Dykstra (Jim), Johan (Marian), Joanne Rozendaal (Kurt) and Tony. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Southern Alberta Myeloma Patient Society or Diabetes Canada.
