She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kowal and Nancy Kowal; her husband Joseph (Joe); her daughter Theresa Mae; and her in-laws, Martin, Mary Pawelek of Kimberley, BC, Bill, Marie Kowal, Roman, Eldora Kowal, Al Kowal, Stanley, Rooth Pawelek, Helen and Don Halstead.
She is survived by: her brothers, Bill, Roman and Al; her daughters, Joanne, Nancy (François), Margaret and Mary Jane; and her sister-in-law Donna Kowal.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Luke's Parish (1566 Northmount Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2L0G6). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (704 6 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E3Y7).
