She was predeceased by: her son Robert; her parents, Hubert Yungmann and Franciscka Yungmann; her brother Henry; and her brothers-in-law, Wilhelm Haunsperger, Don Maurer and Nestor Ludwick.

She is survived by: her husband Duncan MacKenzie of Calgary; her children, Barbara Feit (Jason) of Calgary, Iona MacKenzie of Yellowknife, NWT, Kenneth MacKenzie (Teresa) of Medicine Hat, AB, Compton MacKenzie (Tammy) and Malcolm MacKenzie (Heather) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Kate, David, Logan, Zachary, Kristen and Callum; and her siblings, Hilde Beckie (Vince) of Deep Cove, BC, Ottile Haunsperger of Saskatoon, SK, Beth Maurer of Winnipeg, MB and Werner Yungmann (Lorna) of Humboldt, SK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
